Center for Protection of Natural and Cultural Heritage of Kosovo and Metohija – Mnemosyne is nongovernmental, non-political and non-profit organization gathering active and independent professionals experienced in protection of national heritage in Kosovo and Metohija, ready to work even under conditions which are far from being regular.

MNEMOSYNE Center is the only NGO with the office in Belgrade, which is in the same time registered with UNMIK in Priština. In communication with international partners MNEMOSYNE Center is very often seen as the only acceptable party striving for protection of Serbian heritage in Kosovo and Metohija.

MNEMOSYNE Center has active cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Church, universities, research institutes, museums, cultural and natural heritage protection institutes, Bureau for Urbanism, and with scientific institutes from other fields of research.
