At the annual competition for the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage/ Europa Nostra Awards Mnemosyne’s entry Project Urgent Protection of Natural and Cultural Heritage in Metohija: Final Report has won a Medal (2nd Prize).
The European Heritage Awards Ceremony, was held on June 26th, 2007 in the prestigious setting of the Palacio de El Pardo in Madrid (Spain). The ceremony was presided by Her Majesty the Queen Sophia of Spain, and organized by Hispania Nostra and His Royal Highness Prince of Denmark, President of Europa Nostra. The ceremony was also attended by Ján Figeľ, member of European Commission in charge of education, training, culture and multilingualism.
