Creating Information and Standardizing the Documentation on the Cultural Heritage in Kosovo and Metohija

Justification of the project

There are several different types of records and storing documentation on immobile and mobile cultural assets as well as the intangible heritage. The records are matching the Law on Cultural Assets but are mostly incomplete. Some of the record collections have a completely non-standard approach and form.

Goals of the project

This project will provide the expert foundation for systemic and European-standard solutions for forms and content of record collections on all kinds of cultural heritage, as well as for unification of all individual databases.

The goal of this project is improvement of expert and technical potentials for creating, keeping and updating the information and documentation systems on all kinds of cultural assets of Kosovo and Metohija.

Results of project and form of implementation:

• Guide (guidelines and rules) for creating and keeping documentation on cultural heritage of Kosovo and Metohija, with a study on project topic, in form of a booklet and compact disk.
• Active demo-base for testing data relations, development of informatics system and training the creators of information and documentaries, in electronic form.
• Elaborate on organizing and administering seminars and training courses in information creating.
